★Description
This is a stylish recycled kimono made of zenmai tsumugi silk, featuring a brown background with striped floral patterns.
Zenmai Tsumugi is a type of silk fabric woven using yarn spun from cotton attached to the ferns of the wild vegetable Zenmai, mixed with silk floss, as the weft thread. The resulting fabric has a simple and tasteful texture with horizontal knots. It has many fans among kimono connoisseurs and is now known as a rare and high-end item, but its origins lie in the simple silk fabrics woven as everyday wear for farmers.
