Exterior Condition Rank
Our grading system for the outside of the garment.

Pristine / Like New New or vintage in excellent condition with no visible stains. |
| AA |
Excellent Minor stains only in hidden areas (covered by the Obi or folds). No issues for wearing. |
| AA - A |
Very Good Small, inconspicuous stains in visible areas. No major issues for wearing. |
| A |
Good Some visible stains or minor flaws. Recommended for casual wear. |
| A - B |
Fair Noticeable stains or flaws in both visible and hidden areas. |
| B |
As-Is / Craft Significant damage. Recommended for practice, display, or as material for remake/upcycling. |
* Hidden Areas: Parts tucked into the belt (Obi), folds (Ohashori), or the inner front panel.
* Visible Areas: Parts exposed when worn, such as the collar, sleeves, and outer front panel.
