"Kurume Silk Oshima" is a rare textile that combines the weaving and ikat (kasuri) techniques and designs of the Kurume region of Fukuoka Prefecture with the high-quality silk material and manufacturing methods of Oshima Tsumugi from Kagoshima Prefecture.

It incorporates traditional Kurume techniques while possessing the supple, high-quality silk texture of Oshima Tsumugi silk.
